This new year I am hopeful that I will become tidier, thinner, smarter and maybe have some kind of creative renaissance.

Sometimes you don't fully appreciate how beautiful the things you grow up with are. Here is a very small selection of the enormous body of work that my great grandmother Lili produced, mainly cross stitch these samplers marked so many births and events and are I think completely timeless.
